Registered Land Surveyors · Southern Highlands & beyond

A local business built on solid experience.

Stoneridge Surveying is a family-run business led by registered land surveyor Sean Castelli.

Meet Sean

From the Sydney CBD to the Australian Alps — and home to the Highlands.

Sean Castelli began his surveying journey in 2004. Over the years that followed, he worked with a variety of surveying companies on a wide range of projects, from busy city sites in the Sydney CBD to remote country in the Australian Alps.

Along the way he built broad experience across many aspects of cadastral land surveying — the work that identifies and defines property boundaries. In 2016, Sean became a registered land surveyor.

After years of learning the craft on all kinds of ground, it was time to go out on his own and put that expertise to work for the local community.

That’s how Stoneridge Surveying began: a local, family-run business helping landowners, families and project teams across the Southern Highlands and beyond to start their projects on solid ground.

Whether you have a clear brief or you’re still working out where to begin, Sean is happy to talk through your site and what you’re hoping to achieve.

Why it matters

Why use a registered land surveyor?

In New South Wales, only a registered land surveyor can define and identify property boundaries. If your project involves a boundary, a subdivision or a change to a lot, a registered land surveyor needs to be involved.

Registration in NSW is overseen by the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information.
